As long as you are peeing a lot and getting enough sodium, you should be fine.
Overconsumption of water seems to mostly effect marathoners and long distance endurance athletes because they lose so much salt through sweat and their fluid balance gets messed up.
before competition, i was consuming 2 gallons a day and i was okay.

Sodium, I'm sure I am, don't know how much and definitely peeing alot, no problem there. And what about coffee, I have been drinking alot of it, just for the flavor. I don't mind drinking decaf, I just need the flavor.

The caffine in the coffee can give you a nice pre-workout kick. I drink 2 gallons of water a day.

alright big question here...if i am drinking a lot of water and NOT getting enough sodium, will my fluid balance being out of whack make me faint? because i'm definitely having that problem. i thought it was just low blood pressure...i need to research things like this before eliminating processed food from my diet.

That is a good question... right now I have a headache... and feel funny, not sure if it is from the cup of coffee I am drinking or that fact that I am working towards my second gln of water.
