I haven't worked out for a while and have recently started woking out again 5-7 days a week. A full work out for me is between 3-5 hours a day. Could someone give me advice on letting my muscle repair do I have to or can I push through it.

3-5 hour sessions is way overdoing it. You will be very overtrained, not to mention quick burnout. Rest is impotant, whether growing or leaning.

Understatement of the day!
I don't see how you could weight train 3-5 hours per day, 7 days a week (if you were training correctly and as intensly as you should be), and still be conscious. Quality not quanity is definitly the key when it comes to weight training.

Lots of sleep, lots of water, and yoga and stretching help alot to (i learned that last one from Olympic Powerlifter and world record holder Jeff Sellers)
Also, I am a powerlifter and olympic lifter, and the only time my workouts even APPROACH 3 hours is 2 weeks befor competition, and, as a powerlifter, most of that is spent recovering for my next set. If your looking to build muscle your workouts should be much quicker than that with much less time between sets, like 30 seconds.
