Get you Body Fat measured here, It is the most accurate online measure that I have ever taken and I thought I had done them all. I had my bodyfat done two weeks ago at the gym and according to this site I dropped 2 % since then. I know that I have lost a pound and half in the last two weeks, So I think I can believe this one.

Surprisingly enough, it came up within 1% of my bodyfat scale. Hmmmm...I thought the bodyfat scales were worthless?

Ok, I must not be doing something right then. That one came up with over 38% when the caliper one was 28% and the one here at ft was 27%. I have to say the idea of 38 is really scary. It also said my RMR was 1578 when I just used the one from a post on here yesterday and came up with 2738.

You probably took one of your measurements in the wrong place and that is why you are so far off. Make sure you take the measurements exactly where specified in the instructions.
As for having an RMR of 2738 -- that sounds way too high. Your RMR is your resting rate, before you even move an inch. For a lifetstyle of "light activity" you would multiply this by 1.55, meaning you would burn over 4200 cals per day. Unless you are 8 feet tall this is not correct. 1578 is sounds a lot more realistic

I got a strange reading, also, azredhead.
I have very small ankles and wrists, but a very wide and thick back/chest, so maybe that is why it seems so of for me. I am considering enetering my measurements as a male and seeing how that affects it.
