I used to not drink water. But, it helped during my weight loss program and also now that I'm weight training. In my opinion, there is no substitute. I'm sure you realize that your body is made up of 2/3 water!Juice has acid and sometimes sugar, so you may not want to drink this all day long. Hard to replace good 'ol fashioned H2O... |

replace water!!?? hmmmmm, thats a tough one. no, an impossible one (lol). its helps with every aspect of your body; the more you drink, the better it is for you. during the summer, its not unusual for me to drink more than 2 gallons a day.maybe for a change, every so often try using one of those no calorie drink mixes, like crystal light. that may help, but dont live on it! good luck................michael |

hey..water is key in both gaining and losing programs. Go to the calculations area on this site to get the exact amount that you need. An alternative to plain water is Crystal Light.. .o0 Arnold 0o. |

my husband hates water. the only way I can get him to drink it is with ice cubes and cold. Not substitute for water. Sorry. I don't understand how you can dislike something that has no taste...thats the point of water. Its universal. |

What about sqeezing a lemon in the water or put some mint leaves in it to give the water a little taste?Honestly, it's the best solution (and the cheapest!) |

That's the first I've heard of anyone getting dizzy drinking water. Have you tried room temperature water instead of hot or cold? Have you tried drinking it more slowly perhaps? Sometimes when I drink cold water too fast I get a slight head rush. The consensus here seems to have provided you many alternatives (most of them include mixing something with water, unfortunately). |

Gelson...water is an essential part of your diet...you cant really replace water but u can add something to it such as a flavored tea. |

I believe in Crystal Light, because I believe in me! ;)Anyway, with the tea suggested above, just make sure it is decaffienated, otherwise, it will just dehydrate you worse, but there are many good herbal teas with many homeopathic side effects. As far as adding lemon to my water goes, it never works for me. You see, it starts out fine, but it's a bit too sour, so I have to add sugar. Then it's too sweet, so I have to add more lemons. Before you know it, I'm not drinking lemon water, I've made lemonade! :/ |

I think more it's in the head, Gelson, you don't like to drink water so if you force yourself, you get dizzy....Try some of our suggestions above. Alorle, try putting orange slices in your water instead of lemon. |

Take a bottle of water say a small bottle and carry it with you. Sip it thru the day. When its gone get a bigger bottle and repeat. Do this until you build up tolerance for it. The fuuny thing is your body will start asking you to drink it everyday!!!!!! |

Everybody can drink water. How can one fluid make you dizzy and other types don't? Just don't make any since to me. I have to agree with Philia2; it's all in your head. But anyhow, as you can see above, sufficient water intake is a vital key to living a good productive life style.~billk~ |

Crystal Light Raspberry Ice Tea is the best! I only use half of what the package tells you to use and I think it tastes great. I drink plenty of water too. I can slam a quart of water in 10 minutes no problem. I just hate going to the bathroom so much. |

Sorry, you gotta drink water. It is the key to your body. It helps with everything. How can you not stand water. It doesn't have a taste. Try adding lemon slices to it or drink it with ice. Maybe that will help, but ya gotta drink it, especially if you are working out.-------------- Lisa Just laugh about it.... |
