if you have never exercised before how do you incorporate it in your daily activity

You have to figure out what your priorities are. If starting to exercise is one of them you may have to give something up: an hour of TV a night, a little sleep, etc.

Exactly!! I cannot begin to count the folks that have come here and complained about "time" to workout. Hey we all have lives right? I tape the shows I want to see and this is actually better, I can skip all the commercials!
I always suggest something I call baby steps. One reason a lot of people start exercise and then quit is that they take to much on at once. Simply put make one change at first....I suggest walking or something easy like that. Then the next week or so make that a priority. After 1-2 weeks start another change, be it food choices or (my choice) lifting weights (it takes all three-cardio-food-lifting) to get this right.
Another point I like to make is sit down and write down what you want. I do this almost monthly. I constatnly make new goals in fitness as I reach the ones set.
Now this can be somehting a year out, 6 months
monthly weekly.
I suggest all of the above. Make small easy to reach goals these are "short term goals". They build confindence. Set harder ones aswell and give your self time to reach them. As this becomes routine you will find all the things you need to make fitness part of you life fall into place nautrally.
Above all get involved here, at you YMCA or a gym.
