I just read your profile girl! You have the same goals I do! But,,,when I'm 70 - I hope they perfect face lifts - etc because my bod will probably show the age factor...at 70! (Damn the age thang!) HEY - nice to see you just got married - I got divorced in 98 but havent met Mr.Right...yet! So many idiots out there and scarey! But, I've been on the downhill with it all (except working out) since loosing my job in Sept. So hopefully 2002 turns everything around!

Peggy I believe that good things happen to those that arent even looking for it. In my wildest dreams I would not have thought to marry again... very weird. It was something that just happen. I was enjoying single life believe me after a 19 year marriage I needed a breather...lol.It was waaaaaaaaaaaay to much fun and am happy to settle down again.Enjoy your single life now as someone will snap you up in no time and youll be back to making babies...lol

Congrats on getting married! I just got married last Dec (seems longer though hehe). I did the move thing too! I'm originally from Australia and now living in Northern Ontario... so thats a BIG change for me!
Wish I had a workout buddy up here, but ahh well... I'm going to be heading back to Sydney in 4 days!

I hope everyone has a great & safe Xmas... I'm wishing it now, as I won't be able to log on for a while, once back home. I'm prolly going to mess up my workout during xmas, but as soon as Jan comes in... "BAM" I'm going to get back into it!

Take care all!

Does anybody really work out during the Christmas holidays?!!!! That's a biiig question for me and actually quite annoying too since I hate having my gym almost empty... ): Holidays in France means "days without moving your butt" -actually the time where they have the most time to dooo exercises. A question about self discipline I guess.
Anyway, take care all and don't think about silly me complaining here, now go and enjoy your holidays!!!! (o:

Merry Christmas girls and all the best for 2002.My workout ends Dec 23...so thats cool. I look forward to getting back into the workut routine as soon as the holidays are over. My hus and I plan a honeymoon to greece in may and with the nude beaches there.. if...a big IF.. I take my clothes off I certainly dont want to be self conscious of what my body looks like. Now if my son and his gfriend decide to join us..the nude thing is totally out.. I wouldnt wanna traumatize the poor kid..anyway have a good one all catch you in the new year xo

I don't take time off for the holidays. But are you surprised ? If you read my posts you can kind of tell I am DEDICATED! I actually increase my training during the holidays. I add 20-30 min to my time in the gym and do a little extra cardio. I work so much year around that during the holidays I have a little extra time to spend in the gym.
This also combats the affects of Christmas Parties.

I'll be swimming daily in my folks pool, so at least I'll be able to at least keep active! I know walking around and showing hubbie the sites etc, will also keep some of the weight from creeping back on.

And to fan2c: I won't be coming back to the great white north. I think I've had enough (2 yrs) of snow.. we don't get any in Aust! The only time I'll be coming back is for holidays etc.

As I said earlier.. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and also a happy and safe new yr! I'll be in a hurry to get back online to check out the message boards and workouts etc!
