I have always wanted to compete but only got up the nerve to do it once, and that was for a small time charity event. I didn't do badly, but I didn't place as high as I had hoped. I would like very much to attempt this again when I have completed my short term goals which constitute a full recovery from a little spill I tool about a year ago hiking in the mountains. My hopes for joining this site are to get as much info and expertise as I can to raise to bar for myself.

rev8. personal competition always count. I find it harder to stay on track when no competition is in site !

Julisa..good for you. You should try it again. I have placed high and low...with the same look ! You just never know what the Judges are looking for. Of course it is great to win. Regardless of the outcome just stepping on stage in your best condition is winning.

jdelts...tuning up for a big show ?

Itroisi...Yup, big show is in August for Musclemania. I was blown off the stage at my last competition there so I'm determined to come back and place. How about you? Whats on tap?

I am doing a INBF Figure May 1 in Buffalo. I was going to do Masters Figure. Today I decided I would do open also so I have a shot at Pro. I got burned my last show (picture to far left), only had Open for Figure. I was 15-20 years older than the other girls on stage and they went for the bikini model look.

I am toying with an OCB show in Pittsburg April 24 as a warm up but have a few scheduling issues I may not be able to work out.

Wow, a shot at pro, that is cool!
I am starting training again tomorrow...we will see what happens.
I was off training because of sinus surgery and health issues related, mostly, to sinuses.
Now I am back and ready to be better than ever!
The competition schedule for my area just came yesterday... June or November, most likely is what I will shoot for.
