the stairmaster is generally considered the best, but if you do the elliptical at a really high incline you'll feel a nice burn in the hammys and glutes.:)
-------------- success comes before work only in the dictionary. that's right.

i really don't think you can see a visual change on cardio machines.. if you are looking to firm it up, round it off and try and stick it a little higher, just like it was as a teenager(no hope there sorry, but you can get close) i think we need a bit of the weight training honestly.
squats and/or lunges , back extension machine, glute curls and that sort of stuff-- do programme it in and take a photo so you can before and after, seeing it for yourself.

My wife really swears by the Arc trainer. Other than that I would say the glider, you can set it to hit glutes. One most folks don't think of, but if you do it correctly hits glutes very well is the recumbent bike. The farther back you have the seat, and on a high level, you are pushing very heavily, especially with the first portion of the "push" with almost exclusive glutes.
-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything....

My wife and I are considering a exercise bicycle . . .
Is there truly a difference between the lower end Norditrack ($400) and the higher end Cateye ($1,000)?
