a mix of whey and casein will help prevent catabolism - if you are trying to lose fat you need to make sure it fits into your daily calorie amount. Keeping muscle will help you burn more calories in the long run and protein is not as easily converted to bodyfat, so it shouldn't be a problem.

would it be wise to take an MRP like weider mega mass 2000 b4 sleep? As long as it meets the numbers required. Though i had a bad feeling about it cos it might make you fat since no exercise at all during sleep (well a bit)

it probably has too many carbs, look for a low or no carb whey and casein protein or have some cottage cheese.

If I may put in a word here, if you are doing pure whey before bed, and this is fine, here is your best option. First, take a tbsp. of healthy fats, prefferably flax oil, in about 15 minutes take your whey shake mixed with fiber. I am fond of flax meal here. Great fiber, wonderful nutrient profile, this whole drink will give you what you need, slow digestion, fill you up, and not impact blood sugars in any way. Take your ZMA if you are doing it and go to bed.
MRP's may not be your best bet, due to they usually have malto in them for the best reason.
