I just bought whey protein... when do i drink it, after workout or before? twice a day or just once?

I usually take it during "the golden hour" which is after lifting. You can also take it in the morning to jump start your muscles for the day.
You may take it twice a day to meet whatever your daily protein intake is.

the "best" time, but certainly not the only, is after your workout along with carbs, about twice as many as grams of protein (a 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein).

Okey I take it with my oats in the mornings, just after work out (with a banana!!) and just before bed time.

This works for me, but you have to see yourself how many daily proteins you actually need.

Definitely within 60 minutes immediately after workout. I also consume it as a meal replacement when I fall short of my daily protein requirement.

All I know is that the most important time to take it is within 45 min. after your workout because that is when your muscles need the most nutritiom to grow. You should also take it before you go to bed because when you sleep is when your body body breaks down the food that you ate that day and feeds on it.
