Should I do shrugs on the day that I do back exercises, or on the day that I do shoulder exercises? Thx!

Traditionally, it's a bodypart associated with shoulders, but it is connected to the back. Personally, I do them on my back day.

Yes either or really. I like it on shoulder day cause my normal back day is too hard to have the shrugs with it. though to shock them I sometimes switch that.

I do mine on the shoulder day too. After some hanging cleans, military presses, and arnold presses, I do some heavy shrugs and the next day is usually painful but great.

I was thinking, how heavy do you guys go for shrugs and how developed are you traps? I have tried every way to get them to grow. Light weights high reps, heavy weights low reps and everything in between. I feel it the dy after but they still grow to slow for me.

I switch my shrugs off, one 8-10 week cycle I will do them with shoulders, the next I will do them with back. And to 7707MUTT...Have you ever done upright rows right after behind the necks? They are great for trap developement. Best of luck.

Thanks guys. I think I will do them on back day because I generally have less exercises to do that day.

Well I have done u[right rows but not regularly. And I can not do behind the neck presses I had a old shoulder injury that does not let me do them. But thanks
