New to weight lifting here.. I start my new plan on Monday and have a question.. on one side it says sets then under that it says follow order then they are numbered 1,2,3,4 .. do I do the first set of tyhat exercise, then go on to the next exercise and so forth until I do all the ones, then the twos.. etc.... thanks for the reply...

You do all the sets for a given exercise then move on to the next. Welcome to the site by the way.

Unless you are training for muscle endurance...then a circuit can be ideal.

i do want to build quite a bit of muscle, but I also need to lose weight :)... i would like to have a buff bod a little less than demi moore in GI Jane lol.

I would suggest going the circuit route in your case. Will do more for the fat loss, and build some muscle and strength along the way. Burns more calories. Have to set priorities.

I'd like to chime in here that with the circuits, you should take shorter rest periods in between each set.

so do circuit with small rest periods between each set.. okay.. i'll give it a shot.... i'm so excited about this !
