PANTS.

42s are history.
40s are outta here.
38s are getting down-right comfortable (at 269). Woo Hoo!

New longterm goal: Become one of the people who obsesses over "those gosh darn last 4 pounds of stubborn body fat".

I remember the size 22 I used to wear, WOO WOO what a thrill last week to not be able to find a skirt little enough to fit me. My old skirts make great tents for my grandkids. Great job your doing, keep it up and let's us know how it is going.

Thanks again everybody for all the encouragement.

Still on track with the pants size. And still wearing those 38s regularly - sights on the 36s. Weight went up a couple pounds, but I'm not concerned - pants still feel the same. Like MUTT, maybe I added a couple pounds of muscle (I wish) using the FT 14-week "Shock and Awe" Ultimate Muscle Building Strategy (which is incidentally still kickin' my butt through week 8!). Diet is still on track, though, so who knows... Did I mention how sick I am of chicken and tuna?

Sandysford, great comment about the skirt tent for the grand kids! I actually know what you mean (no, I don't wear skirts nor do I have any grand kids!). I only have a few pairs of 38s, so it's hard finding clothes that fit. I recycle them through the laundry every day. Hey, why buy more 38s when I WILL be in 36s in a few months... Then 34s!

You're doing great.
I weighed 260 when I was 26 yrs old (and 5'9") got down to 185 and maintained it for years until at about 35 got up to 220. Now with Freetrainers diet and excercise I'm down to 205 and waist is down to 38 from 40 after only 1 month.
The only bad thing is my age is still 45!!!
P.S. Send me your excess Tuna! I could live on that stuff!!

Thanks rsjowett - and kudos right back at ya!

Sorry, no tuna to ship your way. I let my supplies dwindle (woo hoo!). Congrats on your progress, however. And my hat's off to anyone who lives for those canned "swimmers".

Truthfully, you really like the stuff? Or is this some kind of Canadian-Zen self hypnosis daily affirmation protein program? "You like the tuna... Tuna is your friend... You enjoy the tuna... Tuna makes you happy..." J/K!
