HOW OFTEN SHOULD I VARIATE BETWEEN DOING HIGHWT/LOW REPS AND LOW WT HIGH REPS,I VE BEEN TRAINING SINCE A YEAR AND ONLY DONE HIGH REPS/LOW WT.WILL DOING LOW WEIGHTS INCREASE MUSCLE SIZE OR KEEP IT THE SAME?

High weights and low reps are the way to go if you want to increase muscle mass.

Right that is the way to increase in size and strength, however if you have been do that same routiine for a year it is most likely time to shake it up. Try moving the reps up/weightsdown, etc....try to change it is what i am saying...do different exercises, different bodyparts on different days than before...hope this helps....

To gain mass a steadfast rule is normally heavier weights, less reps. Rest somewhat longer between sets for optimal muscle fiber recruitment to achieve overload with each set. And as MUTT says, change things up. Don't do the same thing for a year. The body adapts pretty quickly, and your gains will cease. When your gains stop with a certain routine, change it....vary it in some way, even if it is just the order of the exercises. Good luck...
