I have no decline setting on my bench, but I do have access to dip station and belt weights, ect... My chest routine is nothing special incline bench followed by weighted dips & finishing with flat bench. Seems to be working very well. Really just wondering what everyone's views on dips were.

I like dips personally better than decline bench. Again just a personal preference. I tend to finish with weighted dips though rather than work them in the middle. I like to really f-up my triceps at the end of the workout.

I view them as one of the best exercises you can possibly do for your upper body, and think they would make an excellent substitute.

I just recently changed it around. It used to be incline, flat, & then dips, but I read that decline hits more of the muscle than flat. The new way allows me to hit more muscle while using up my tri's and finish with the least effective exercise. This way it's more bang for ur buck
