You ladies all look wonderful. I am 47 & just 2 weeks into the beginning program. I was wondering what you women lift say for bicep & tricep work. Just want to know what I should be aiming for. Right know I am using 2 & 5 pound wieghts & next week will add 8 pounds into the mix. Any info would be great.
Thanks Nancy

Hi Nancy :)

I think aiming for what's right and challenging for you would be the best goal to aim for. For example, if you are easily completing your program sets, try bumping up the weight so that the last three reps of each and every set make you really work to complete it. I guess I am trying to say: do what is right for You rather than comparing with some of the ladies here (I think I myself could get dejected if I compared myself to Sandysford (bravo for her) - she lifted her own weight a while back, and well, that's certainly a ways off for me, so I just go at my own pace but certainly don't let up on challenging myself constantly, and perhaps one day, I too will lift my own weight :)

If you are curious though, you can always look in the Exercise Journals here on this site to see what others are doing.

Good luck to you :)

You'll need to find the weight that's good for you. We are all special and different.
Yes, good idea, take a look in the journals in here.
Good luck!

Just keep moving up the weight.....dont get too comfortable with a certain weight. Your last few reps should always be a challenge.
