When you have reps that are 20, 16, 16, 16. Do you stay at the same weight for all the 16's or should you go up in weight.

I'm working on body fat loss and toning up. I just finished up the 8 weeks definition workout. Not sure what you mean where I'm at right know. But over that last 6 weeks I weighed 184 to start right know I weigh 191. So thats 7lbs of muscle I gained. So I wont to get my body fat down to see the muscle. I've been exercising for the last 10 months using tapes and last 6 weeks in the gym lifting weights. I hope this help you ravenbeauty. Thanks

The first set is a warm up set, you should up the weights for the next sets.

I also wonted to find out, I know everyone is different but wonted to know what the general rule is. I'm not asking because I freakin out about my weight.
Anyway if I gained 7lbs of muscle, how much more muscle (weight) I might gain before I start to lose more body fat. Just curious. And thanks again.

Thats a tough one to answer. As you build muscle, it will actually burn fat. I take it that you are weighing yourself.
You really should stay off the scale and go by what you see in the mirror, and measure yourself with a tape. Your bodyfat will eventually change. &lb gain in muscle is great.
Don't worry, you won't start bulging out like a man.
Keep up the good work.

As you gain muscle, the more you gain, the more bodyfat you will lose without trying! Muscle stokes your metabolism, along with diet(the only 2 things)and if your metabolism is revving harder, you are naturally burning more fat! Muscle is gainef fairly rapidly up to a couple months when beginning working out. Trust me, it will slow considerably. Enjoy it while you can. Do not be afraid of this, stay off the scale, and forget that. If ou are training hard, and eating a good quality diet, it is almost impossible to gain fat.
