Hi. I LOVE vertical bench crunches, and find them helpful in the lower ab department. However, my new gym does not have the little machine thing that I need in order to do it. So, I tried to do them by using the railing on my deck where the opening to the stairway is. Realized that it was a little too dangerous since I'm clumsy, and it's a staircase and all. So, I'm looking for any suggestions so that I can easily do this exercise at the gym or at home without the special machine. I know there are other lower ab exercises that I can do, and I actually do them. But I think these are fun and really enjoy them and miss them. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what a vertical bech crunch is, but maybe if you put a stepper thing under a flat bench at the gym, you can do them?

Hang from a bar for chins and do the same motion, it's harder and you'll get a good stretch, also.

I'm sure you can find them cheaper.
