I have been trying for over a year now to lose weight.. I am 5 feet 2 inches and weigh 193. I work out 4 days a week and I also have walked 8 -10 miles on a trail. I dont like drinking my meals so anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

elcome to FT mon820, you'll find all the information and support you need to help you with your goals. Spend the time searching the site and learning all you can about how to optimize your nutrition and exercise to reach your goals. It's great that you're already exercising, but I would guess that diet is going to be key for you. The threads that are thumbtacked at the top of each forum are the best place to start.

Good Luck!

I agree with fly, research the site, partake in the exercising programs that are free on here and pay special close attention to the nutrition portion. Also, changing things up a bit might help you start to see some progress. If you do the same exercises, eat the same foods all the time, the body has an incredible memory and will adapt to that, hence no results of weight loss are seen.

Good luck and welcome to FT.

Have you gone to the doc. That might be your best bet. She could rule out any kind of physiological problems that might be preventing you from losing weight. Have you had a thyroid function test done?
