What your feeling is lactic acid build up. slow down and do 14 when you are able to.

It sounds like a cramp maybe. But as Tim says, if it hurts then stop.

During my treadmill workout if I am at a speed at around 14.00. I cannot continue beyond a few minutes. I feel extreme pain in my abdominals. I guess that my abdominals are weak to sustain at that speed.

My question if I continue running ignoring that pain will it help in strengthning my abdominals. Usually I reduce the speed to 6 or so and continue and the pain vanishes in another few minutes.


If it strengthenes my abs then I will try to run for a minute or so more bearing that pain.
