Howdie, sounds like a nice lunch! Must be some nutrition in the cheese and onions?

Linda and Charlie, I couldn't agree more. Four weeks is long enough for making a vast improvement. I could potentially lose 6 or 7lb! Of course with my track record I'll probably only lose 1 or 2. I've been going for 4 months with 6lb loss. Either way Im going to go down on the tape and I'll be happy with that!

I forgot things are looking up. My prayers and sacrifices to the strength gods are being answered. I should hit my 225 bench by august. and 300 in the dead is coming and squats hmm once my knees stops hurting will be back up there. You may all now bow before me!!:laugh::laugh:

that's making me think of the fair. I love the fair, corn dogs and those lil mini donut things that float down the peaceful river of grease, then get rolled in the cinnamon and sugar and end up in my mouth, where they melt in my own personal heaven. The tri-tip sandwiches own too!!

Hi Donna, a 6 pound loss in 4 months is just fine. That's 16 weeks that you didn't gain not one ounce. For me, the hardest part is maintaining and you seem to be doing just fine maintaining. Keep up the good work. Linda:big_smile:

You are doing great, LynndaMaree, as is Donna and everyone else involved! I think it is a great motivational challenge and enjoy watching everyone doing so well! I don't know about even coming close to winning, I will be thrilled to just not GAIN!

Donna you still have 4 weeks left and anything is possible. Like you said, just to prove it to yourself that you can do it is worth the challenge. You will do it. Now back to what Charlie said, Veda and myself being neck and neck. Oh oh, guess I'll get up off my rear end and do some resistance training and some more cardio.:big_smile:Just teasing Veda, I wish you all the best. (hee hee) Getting up to go to the walking track. Linda

Hi Veda, I don't care if I win either, as long as I have dropped some pounds and inches, that's all that matters. I wish this challenge would go on for another two months when this one is finished. It sort of keeps me on track. Like you said Veda, as long as we're not gaining. Take care and good luck. Linda

Thanks Veda for the words of encouragement. It really helps a lot. I'm so glad I joined this site, everyone here is just so friendly and so helpful. I'm gonna try my best to work just as hard or even harder these last four weeks. I've been battling with my weight for as long as I can remember. This time I plan on making it. Take care and again, thanks. Linda:big_smile:

As I said in the challange post, my lifts are coming along. I am down 10 lbs. I won't measure until 29 July. Geezer power is prevailing...I will win.

What happened to the trash can? Where did all the trash go?? It has been since July 6th since anyone but me posted here - are you all on the Pro forum and forgot about the dear ol' trash can? I miss the fun, the puns, the absolutely necessary humor to my day! I hear an echoooo......so sad......

The echo slams into the rock hard geezer body and stops here.

I would make a prediction here about who will win and take world domination from Mike M but you all know what a shrinking violet I am and it would just be bragging. So I'll say nothing.......except where are all you weinies?????

I am going to win the lift percentage category unless my post-holiday increased body weight wrecks the numbers :)

I've been hiding out lately, training for a 60 mile walk next month so while my lifts haven't improved as much as I would like, I have increased my pace to about 4.5 mph!

...............UP SCOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday I have an upper and lower scope scheduled. To prep for this procedure invloves a thorough cleaning of the plumbing system.

I am presuming that I'll lose 5 lbs or so. I plan on weighing the morning of the procedure. That will be my official challange weight final. I have set new PR's on ALL lifts. With the combination of weight loss and lift gains I will win. Be sure you start compiling your stats since this fiasco ends Saturday.

Send your lifting stats to Dani and post all other results. I am going to double post this announcement in the challange post too.

Effective for Wednesday NOBODY can say I'm full of sh**!!!!!!

Isn't that the truth.

Seriously though, there's no missing the challenge? You've got a before and an after, right? the exact date, I think, can be fudged a bit.
