Hi
I am 17 years old (18 in June) and have been going to the gym for 2 years now. I was 18 stones when I was 16 and now I am 11 stones and 4Kg thats about 165pounds which is my ideal weight and I am 5ft 11 - 6ft in height. The thing is, i have some fat around my thighs and stomach and want to get rid of it fast. I want to get a 6 pac very soon but also keep my weight! Any suggestions how I can do that without losing weight! I also have a good chest but I want to form it ( not make it bigger) how do i go about doing it? I currently cannot bench press much, about 50 kg but my chest is good, why is this? does practice determine the amount u can bench press or size? My diet is really good, I eat very low fat, moderate protein and carbs, but I do tend to eat a lot of cereals whole grain and things like frosties! I have like 3 bowls a day with skimmed milk! is that ok? With this can i achieve a 6 pac soon? and how long roughly, i do lots of sit up and crunches almost everyday at the gym! Thanks for ur help!

Whats the rush? If you say 'fast' then your're setting your self up for disappointment. These things take time and should become the habit of a life time.

if you want to get the six pack it's all about your diet (exercises will create the muscles but they will be hidden by this layer of fat). you have to reduce your bodyfat to around 10%. eating properly and working out with intensity is how you will get that body you want. don't worry too much about an ideal weight, instead focus on eating the right things and lifting heavy if you want a bigger chest. by eating right i mean getting the right amount of carbs, proteins, fats. you should eat 6 small meals comprising of your daily caloric needs. as far as have a good chest without lifting much it comes down to genetics - some have to work their ass off, some only need moderate work, and others don't have to work too hard at it (some can't develop calves but have great arms, etc. = all genetics). personally i wouldn't eat that much cereal, but you have to figure whats right for you and watch your sugar intake (cereal included).

The answer to your sugar question really is none! You will get all the sugar you "need" from your foods. If you are trying to lose weight, sugar is the last thing you need.
