I have a question. On Monday, I did my FT exercise routine and pretty much did all the rep's stated. The exercises included push ups, side laterals, chin ups,can curls (I used 5 lb weights) squats, and calves. The lower body workout is not the problem, it is my right arm. It is still so sore today. I should mention also that yesterday was a rest day so I did not workout. Nor did I work out today because I am too sore. My arm is really sore around the bottom of my bicep, in other words, it hurts alot to even extend my arm straight out all the way. Oh ya, I did 4 sets of each exercise and the reps called for where 15,15,12,10. On the bicep curls, I did all reps with the 5lb weights. Did I do to much to start? Should I continue my routine tomm? Thanks for any help.

You may have tackled too much too fast.. sometimes DOMS can last a while, even after a day off.. it might not hurt to wait another day if the next bit of the routine calls for arms.. if the pain continues too much longer, go see a doctor...

I would make sure and rest it. Continue the routines, but don't forget to watch your form. Try icing for about 10 min.
Hope that helps, if it persists, see a doc.

The first couple times I did biceps, I didn't want to look bad with a 10 or 20 pound barbell, so I grabbed the 30 and 40 pound barbells and struggled through my sets. The pain lasted for three days. The biceps felt like they were permanently flexed. They next week I went down to the 20 pound barbell, and I only hurt for a few hours. The ice bags were my friends.
Probably too much too fast. :(
