I am looking for an alternative to squats. I work out at home and I don't have enough weight to make the squats effective. I don't mind increasing reps to compensate for lack of weight. My goal is not to build mass at this point.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated....

One leg squats. Curl up the leg behind you (on a step...) and squat with one leg. Watch your knee. Good luck.

How much weight do you have? You really can bnulid great legs by doing high reps, but do them very slow and in perfect form. Also make sure you go far enough to have your legs parell ( i know I can not spell LOL ) hold for a secv then go back up. Try those! Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback guys. The one-legged squats with 2 25lb. dumbbells are perfect when I double the reps.

I would do them much slower. Go down 2 seconds and come up 4-6 seconds. That'll put some hair on your back baby hehe.
