Hi Ladies,
I've lost 98 pounds this past year, with about ten more to go. My problem is too much skin. I've figured out what to do with the excess on my arms...I'm filling that out with muscle, but the extra skin on my torso...sheesh!! :O
I'd like to avoid surgery, if possible. Any suggestions? I'm sure it'll go down some...eventually (I heard it takes another year?), but if anyone's been through this and has any ideas, please share. I'm looking great in clothes...but I'd sure like to look good nekkid too! ;)
thanks,
Gisela

Gisela you don't tell us your age.....
We've had several posts about this (try to do a search) but what you can do is drink enough water, eat good fat, lots of cream and massage!.....
I guess that are the golden words.

Congrats by the way, you've done a great job! And now you want to become a personal trainer?!!! I wish you all the very best luck with your goals!!

Time will help your skin...I also had that problem...nothing like finally being confident enough to wear a pushup bra and having it look like it is filled with wrinkly od woman's skin. Stay well hydrated, use moisturizers and be patient!

Congrats by the way!

Congradulations. There are many things you can do. Surgery is obviously going to be the fastest way. Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend.

Why put yourself through surgery though? It should be your last option. It does shrink and is much healthier. I have been through it I've seen pictures of the effects of some surgeries too. Just be patient and proud of your accomplishments so far.

I am glad to read these responses. I am 30 years old and I am combating loose skin along with my weight loss. I use skin firming lotions..and I drink lots of H2O. I just hope that they firm...eventually. I would love to wear strapless stuff...and all of those cool tank tops now.
