First off, Hey everyone!!! I have missed you all soooo much that I had to take time out tonight to touch base and man let me tell you it was way overdo!!! I needed the extra motivation!!
Ravenwolf had sent me an email at work today and said that I was being asked about. I have been up to my hairline in work and to top it off, I have been feeling really yucky lately, I mean yucky! It takes a lot to get me down but boy has it hit, I have a doctors appt on the 10th to see what is going on. In the meantime I took a week off last week cause I literally had a hard time just getting out of bed and going to work. I felt as though I was rendered unconscious and in a coma for a week. More sleep, was still not enough and my joints in my body starting aching pretty bad, feeling constant dizziness and as though my whole equilibrium was off, not to mention female problems that keep getting worse as the months go by. I was tired of not being able to do anything so I pushed myself today. After work, once again totally exhausted and not wanting to do anything, I made myself go upstairs and do my Back/Shoulders routine. I told myself okay, I am starting back so i'll just do that and no cardio today. Guess what, that didn't happen!! I went out and met RW at the nearby Coal Miners Trail and did a walk/jog for 35 minutes!! I said I was only going to do 20 minutes, but when 20 minutes came, it wasn't enough I went the extra 15. Man it felt good to exercise again!!! I felt my whole body revived and although I am still feeling a bit exhausted, it is less than I have felt the last week. The motivation is coming back and hopefully I can find out what these health issues are that are trying to remain an obstacle in my path. It ain't gonna happen though. Oh just so you all know (MUTT, RW) This girl hasn't gained anymore back, weighed in at 167 lbs this morning and 21.25 bf %!!!! You still in trouble boys!!! -------------- Bettia.... well guys, sad to say, i feel at a loss. I haven't had much energy to do anything, when I do i try to walk or whatever i can, as a result of this, in just two weeks mind you, i have had weight gain and my metabolism just keeps getting worse and worse. I have my doctors appt tomorrow and I hope to find out what the hell this is, it is very frustrating alone to be so busy at work I don't have time to get on here like I used to, to have to deal with these health issues. Let me tell you they are getting quite disturbing, i feel like i am not connected with myself and that I have even lost a connection with Ravenwolf as a result of this, he is growing so well and having so many gains, congrats babe, you are doing AWESOME, it is just hard to sit back and watch all this. I really hope this passes soon. I am still following my diet as usual. As I was thinking on this I have hypothyroidism, in which i was taking medication for, well i had stopped the meds and tried the herbal approach of it taking kelp sea weed as an alternative. I have been on that for about 4 1/2 months now or a little longer and I am starting to wonder if that's what can be the cause of my body reacting this way. Another thing might be a ovarian cyst, which a few of my girlfriends at work have told me to have the doctor check me on that given the symptoms i have described to them. So, wish me luck all, I hope it is nothing too serious and something that can be resolved soon. Sorry for being such a slump. I miss all of you terribly and hope I can be on her more instead of late at night.
Take Care! -------------- Bettia.... The secret of getting ahead is getting started. |

That really sucks RB! That must be so frustrating for you - to feel so crappy and not know what is wrong is agitating, annoying and downright disheartening.
Hopefully your doctor will be able to diagnose this problem soon, then you will beat this thing, (as we all know you will). Then, when you are up there on that FT podium in October you can describe to us all how you perservered and overcame this dilemma. I await the story of triumph! |

Wow, RB, the ovarian cyst, I had those in 98 and it made me feel horrible, I really feel for you there. Thyroid problems can also throw you off track and make things difficult for you. I am saying a prayer for you today that all goes well, let us know cause we really do miss you. -------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! Hi all! I apologize for it being so long since I've written, I have been extrememly busy at work and going to the doctor's every other day it seems. Well, here is the news so far.
I have a cyst for sure, that they figured out, so surgery will be in the upcoming forecast. They first have to find out exactly what type of cyst it is, which they will be doing next Thursday, the 26th, in order to determine the type of surgery i will need. They are suspecting it is one that in connected to my urinary tract. My thyroid was way out of whack and that caused heavy monthly menstruals and hemmoraging which also caused me to get anemia. I guess my body is working on 1 1/4 less pints of blood then others. Geez, no wonder i was so exhausted..lol I am now taking medication for those things, but due to the cyst, I am on no heavy lifting, stress, heavy exercising, nothing right now. Let me tell you what an extreme blow this was to me. I feel now like all i have been working on was just thrown out the window. Though I myself know that it is not the case. It will just take patience and time for me to get through this and then i will be miss fitness queen again. Trouble is, RW and I are getting married this October and I wanted to be totally beautiful and in shape for the wedding and I may not be able to even do that. It is very depressing. I know I will get through this, there have been worse things that i survived. Wish me luck all, I will keep you informed as I get chances to get on here. Miss you all! -------------- Bettia.... =( We're all thinking of you here RB! You take care of yourself and get better soon. Don't you worry about taking some time off to recover. The important thing is you've made the change in your lifestyle.. and once that's done, getting youself back into shape won't be a problem at all! You know what you have to do and you know how to do it. It will just have to wait a while. (plus.. you've got one heck of a support team here!)
Regarding looking your best for the wedding in october.. you know darn well that RW loves you no matter what. I'm sure that the beauty he sees in you has very little to do with your physical appearance. I've seen him write about you enough to know that for myself! You two stick together and you can make it through anything! -andy- -------------- Dont wait! Procrastinate NOW! =) |

RB you have so much on your plate right now the last thing you need to be worrying about is getting back into shape. It won't be as hard as you think. Right now you need to rest and be in good health mentally and physically for your surgery. Then you will have to rest a lot to make sure you are recovered before even thinking of working out. I had a bladder surgery in early Jan of this year and because of the holiday hulabaloo I hadn't been to the gym since before Thanksgiving, so I too was fussing about losing all I had worked so hard for. But ya know what? It came back a lot faster than I imagined! I started back to the gym in late March, really light and easy at first as I didn't want to 'undo' the procedure I had done, and now 3 months later I am way past where I was when I stopped last fall. I'm stronger, my muscles are bigger and I have more energy and stamina. Plus now I don't have the problems I had before the surgery! You seem like a very motivated and dedicated young woman so I don't think you will have any problems with that, but right now you need to focus on healing. Get your thyroid back on track and your anemia under control and get strong before your surgery. And most important, while you are recovering let people do for you. I had to stay off my feet for 10 days after which is something I was not used to, but I found out that my family was more than willing to do whatever needed done during that time. (Not as well as I do it, of course...lol.) Don't worry, don't feel guilty, stay positive and get healthy. Everything else will fall into place. ;)-------------- ~Victoria~ ...Some things have to be believed to be seen! |

RB- don't worry about getting "back in shape" girl! it's not like you will regress, & suddenly become a couch potato! Your mind set still wants it and that's what's important. Your motivation will be there for you when all this is through - and probably even more so!
And like RW says, just my opinion but I think he likes whats inside! If we could all be so lucky to find the perfect match! You two are just too cute! |
