I always thought that a Protein shake was a fruit shake (homemade) with protein powder added. Are there others kinds, and what is the best?

Yes, there are GOBS of them out there.

Take a peek at: http://www.fitrx.com/fitrx/default.asp and look in the Nutrition Supplements (and in Meal Replacements) to see some of them.

The best, well, it's an individual thing. You may not like what I do, and it may not work as well for you.

trial and error and personal preference. some things taste better to others and some powders work better for others. i've been using designer protein for quite a few years now and i have nothing bad to say about it. and it tastes great. keep looking and sampling and you'll eventually find something that works for you and tastes half decent too.

Hey ice_man, can you show how you get to 200 grams of protein in a day? I am just curious.

My personal preference is Myoplex (specifically Myoplex Lite Vanilla).

Great for when you need to eat but don't have time for a "convetional" meal.
