Hi I have a bunch of question.
I'm wondering if powdered Milk has caseinate in it?
When you take Whey and Milk together dues the milk stop the Whey from absorbing within 30minutes or dues the Whey absorb like normal then the proteins in the Milk start to absorb? I would like the make a custom MRP using Whey, Dry milk, Egg Protein would this combo create a time relies protein drink? From my understanding if you take Whey with milk it stops the Whey from absorbing for about 2 hours or dues the milk make the Whey absorb gradely over 2 hour rather then in 30 minutes. Thanks for the help.

I think bbfit would be better at answering this than I am.But I will try...
The whey wil be absorbed rapidly and the milk slower because casein clots in your stomach (look up a protein primer in fit buddy, it discusses the different kinds of protein and when/why to use them). So a mixture would be good because your system would have some readily available protein and some protein for later.
If you are making a meal replacement you will need a source of carbohydrates. Bbfit has made a post recently about how much carbohydrate to put in, I don't recall what the post was called, though. Or you could have your all protein shake and a side of veggies or fruit, depending on the time of day.
Don't forget to include some good fat in your shakes, that is an energy source and is used for different things by your body.
2 hours is a long time, You should be eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Fiber will lengthen the amount of time it takes to digest , also.
I think maybe I am just confusing the issue. I hope not...

As a general rule, the "slowest" protein you use in your mix will determine absorbtion rate. This is why if you are using for example a pure whey pre bed, it is good to add some kind of casein protein to it, or at the very least fiber. Fats are really beneficial also. This is also the very reason you want none of the above other than whey immediately post workout.
For a nice custom MRP, I would suggest whey, dry oatmeal, and a tbsp. of natural peanut butter. I would prefer to add cottage cheese in place of the milk. You can add a piece of fruit if you like, such as a bannana or a few strawberries. Much of this depends on your goals adding the fruit and peanut butter or even heavy cream for extra calories. I am not a big fan of milk, and I know that some will disagree, and that is fine. Too much sugar for me, and then the antibiotics they give the cows, etc., etc.. But the choice here is yours, and yes, milk is casein and slows digestion.
