I'm looking for some advice on post work out meals/snacks. I generally train in the evenings, and get home around 8, 9 or 10, depending on the day. My current goals are weight loss (want to lose over 2stone!) and a tone up, so I'm doing cardio and some light weights at the minute.

What should I be eating this late, considering bed time is around 11ish. I have been trying to avoid carbs after around 5 in the evening, and big meals after 7ish.

So when I get back from the gym late I might just have some fruit and yoghurt or some salad with chicken/tuna etc? Is this ok, or have you guys any suggestions?

So long as it's a good dose of protein in the chicken/tuna, you should be fine with that. Always include protein.

Fruit and salad consist of a large amount of carbs, if you're trying to avoid them. Stick wtih the protein like he said above. Cottage cheese works well also late at night.
