How quick was your weight loss? A loss of that musch weight to qucikly and you can wind up with loose skin just hanging there. Over time the skin might shrink or you will need surgery to restructure it.

raffycanlas,
I don't know how much more you need to lose, if any. I only know that really focusing on the ab workouts is all that helps me. And I have to lose all of my weight, because with that, I'll have the potbelly anyway.

Unfortunately, some of us carry the bulk of our weight on the belly (I do.) Just be glad you're not a gal! Having my belly stick out further than my "feminine assets" is truly a downer!!

Hope this helps. I'm sure the pros can offer you some good advice. Have you tried a search? I would, if you haven't already. Best of luck, hang in there!

1200 calories??? Are you even eating enough to keep your body going?
My nutritional plan has me eating 1700 cals.

step up weight lifting sessions, and eat more...1800-2000...calories...you'll gain some muscle....to fill out your frame...

surgery to remove loose skin might be necessay as noted if you lost the weight rapidly.....

First off...congratulations on your huge weight loss, well done! You might want to try changing your workout routine if you've been doing the same thing for a while. Try HIIT for a change (do search buddy) or try a type new cardio. Definetly keep lifting wts, it really helps give you that toned look. Unfortunately fat is fat, and you can't spot reduce, so keep your diet clean (and eat enough!!) Sometimes your body just needs a change to get your metabolism sparked again.

Also, be very proud of what you've accomplished so far:big_smile:

when I said "do search buddy", I meant at the bottom of the page is a search routine called fitbuddy. Just type in HITT and you'll ge loads of info. HITT stands for high intensity interval training.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! What an amazing accomplishment! If only we could all have your strength and resolve!

Those last few inches are the worst. We will ALL agree on that! Don't give up. Remember you can NOT target a specific body part. Maintain your overall fitness and you will succeed. I agree with the crew - 1200 calories is not enough fuel for your body. How tall are you? It's likely your body is hanging on to that last fat reserve because you're starving it.

Keep us posted! You can do it!!

Erika.
