What do you try? What do you eat? How long have you been trying?

I have been trying for a long time to lose weight..This includes intense work outs, strict diet. My diet is 1000 calories a day with no carbohdrates and little or no fat items.

Your diet is the reason you're not losing weight. Only 1000 calories a day is killing your metabolism. You also need carbs and fat; you can't survive without them. Look at the diet thread to find some healthy foods to eat. As crazy as it sounds, you need to eat to lose weight.

You can't lose fat without taking in fat. If you don't take in fat, your body will overcompensate and become more adept at using what's available (protein, ie muscle tissue) instead of using fat.

Have you been overweight most of your life?

Parents overweight?

Have a lot of processed food in the house?

As someone else stated, your cal. consumption is too low.

Are you exercising? If not, you're wasting your time.

If you are exercising, are you lifting weights? Cardio alone is waaaaay too slow unless you're doing a form of interval training.
