Well since I keep to myself in the gym, in between my sets, I like to "people watch" see whats to be seen.
Boy have I seen some stuff this week!
I'm curious to whats up with wearing bennie's or stocking hats in the gym? IS this soposed to intimidating? Especially when its 73 in the gym?
Or sun glasses for that matter?
Also....these man capri things? Where these "shorts" come past the knee and show about 6in of calf?
Maybe its just a southern thing?

Settle down big fella...it's just a bunch of west coast wannabes...CONCENTRATE BABY!
It is sad though that the revolution is coming back around where the gym will become a hang out for posers.
I for one, am all for the occasional rant, don't forget what Lloyd Braun said:

I love the color coordinated name brand wearing people that spend more time looking at their abbs in the mirrios than working out

Beanie=bad hair day...lol....
sunglasses=i am scared of weight lifting...and i am allergic to squat rack except when I want to curl the bar...
I started wearing many t-shirts inside out, and cut them up so they are more comfortable in the neck/arm area.....my friends commented on my lack of coordination with what i wear to the gym....my response is that i don't give a 4hit..i am there to work out...

other day I saw a guy....maybe 10-15 lbs lighter than me. Still a big guy......he was lifting his shirt flexing I think his abbs. Now I'm a big guy....but I cover up. I'm like wtf.....Only reson why i noticed this guy, was cause he wanted to "pose" infront of the squat rack I was using, I had to go and get water. Came back this yahoo was here!

those are my favorite......i have a guy at my gym that cant weight more than 150 lbs, but he thinks he is really muscular and defined so he sits in front of the mirror posing all day.......im tempted to stand next to him and pose just to mock him, but i dont have time for that when im in the gym

I rarely notice people, more often I notice stupid things and things that get in my way.
People at school here when I meet them are always like "Oh, I see you at the gym all the time..."
Well I don't see you. I don't see anyone, and I don't remember anyone, unless you do something to really piss me off.

yea... i normally will roll to the gym with a beanie and then take it off... who cares what i look like. if your judgin me when im a sweaty, stinky halfway dead dude... screw you. and the only people i notice are the ones who get in my way and go real slow around the gym... you know.. the person who just takes his sweet time getting everywhere. and then the talkers who stand in my rack. i like that they are there actually... really pisses me off which makes me work harder...
