I split my workouts into bi/back, shoulder/abs/legs, chest/tri, rest. i didnt feel my biceps hurting at all on day 2. would it be ok to work out biceps on day 2 or 3? or should i wait until day 1 again. It really pisses me off sometimes when i dont feel sore the next day. what should i do?

Getting DOMS does not mean you had a great workout. On the flip side, not getting DOMS does not mean you had a crappy workout.

You'll get DOMS if it's a movement you aren't used to or if you haven't done that particular movement in a while. I wouldn't be overly concerned if I didn't get them.

I have been doing this for the better part of the last 30 yrs. I can verifiably say that soreness is not an indication of a solid workout. It amazes me, all my friends mostly, even my wife, always talk about how sore they get. I on the other hand never get sore, and trust me, they sure don't work out any harder than I do. It is not unusual not to get sore. The more highly trained you are, the less this will happen also.
