I recently had a bout with viral myocarditis. It put me in the hospital for three days. My ejection fraction went from a normal 55% to 40%. I have been told no exercise or physical activity for at least 2 months until my next echocardiograph. Has anyone had any experiences with myocarditis? I am seeing the cardiologist Tuesday and want to go in armed with questions.

Hey man sorry to hear about that. I have a stress test next week. Not dealing with your issues but still scary anyway. Hang in there!

Anything with the heart is a bit disheartening (ok, sorry about the pun). I did have an angiogram and found that my arteries are in great shape thanks to good eating and exersise!

I answered your post in a different forum.

Please don't double post, it gets confusing.
