If it's been sore that long, it sounds as if you may have an injury. Do yourself a favor by having a doctor check it out. If I were you, I'd stay away from the weights for awhile. Take care ...

This is natural...even pro bodybuilders still get sore even after years of training! As long as the pain doesn't linger on (this could be a sign of injury or overtraining), your body should recover.

Did you do a new exercise? Did you change the number of sets or reps? Did you take heavier? Rest enough between the sets or drank enough water? Had your work out shake? stretch?.....
Lots of reasons why we get sore muscles.

I have been weight training for years and I still get sore muscles. Don't worry about it, you're doing fine.
