Muscle Milk right after a workout?

Is it a good idea to take a serving of muscle milk right after a workout? I've heard from certain people that you should take any protein shake immediately after a workout. But i've also heard its best to take muscle milk in the morning and right before bed and NOT after a workout. What would be the best time to drink muscle milk? I'm confused

Muscle milk has been discussed in the supplement forum, do a fit buddy search.

because of it's fat content, it is not an ideal pwo shake, pwo you want a whey protein and dextrose/malto-dextrin in water.

Muscle milk is good before bed or (I think...) post-cardio. But, like i said - do a fit buddy search, this has been asked before.

yeah, I would probably do as Amy states. PWO you want as fast an assimilating protein as possible. A good pure whey isolate fits the bill here.
