I have wanted to do cardio for a while now, but i never get motivated to do it. So ever since I started lifting weights again I have yet to do any cardio.

Please fill in your profile. Cardio if you don't like it may take some serious motivation. I for one hate it, and to do it takes some serious motivation. Like now, I have a contest coming up in less than 3 weeks, and I am not only doing cardio, but getting up at 5am and doing it on an empty stomach! But I have a reason, a goal. It is funny, I can get outside and ride my bike for miles with no problem, but get me on an exercise bike or treadmill in the gym, and 5 min. is like 5 hours! All that pedaling and running, and not going anywhere. You have to have a goal if you are not a cardio freak like some.

If you are going to do cardio in the gym keep a log like you do when you lift. Log your HR, Distance, Speed, Level, perhaps that will motivate you. Like bb1fit said, not going anyplace, is tough.

LOL bb1fit, you know we have to suffer for a body like that!!! Nutrition is the key to the results but cardio is necessairy to stay in shape and the heart happy!
Zackp, try doing cardio outside or another good idea is to do cardio with a friend and TALK! The times pass sooo much faster and you'll be happy when it's done! (o;

1st of all you have to erersize your "will". You are the only one in control of this,- what do you want? How bad do you want it?
