I stumbled across a print today of Marilyn Monroe lifting weights, and simply had to buy it. It's a black and white photo, she's in jeans and a bikini top, and it's about the most glamourous workout picture I've seen. If the sexiest woman to ever live worked out, that proves again that effort and sweat can still be feminine. I love it! Especially in the 50's, women lifting weights was so unheard of, it's really something! If you want to check out the picture, it's by Phillpe Halsman, 1952.

Actually she did some gym work, If you look at her stats, ht wt etc, she would be overwieght according to the charts. BTW where did you find the pic? I stash her stuff away!

You can view/order it online at: http://oneatrow.com/Pages/Marilyn_Weights.html they want $165 US for it framed, I paid $25 Canadian for the print, and I'll just buy a frame for it. Hope you like it! I would scan it but it doesn't fit in the scanner!
