Hi....
I have signed up for a FreeTrainers Toning workout schedule. I am an intermediate guy. The workout involves me doing preacher curls. I dont have access to a Preacher Bench. That is the issue....!!
Are there any other types of exercises to target my lower biceps...?
I do wanna say this that I follow instructions of the excercises as given by Free Trainers...and the other excercises are really effective....!! So , I am not a sceptical kind of a guy
Thanks,

if you have acces to an incline bench you can stand behind it an rest your arms down the back of it for near the same affect.

Hammer curls and any kind of concentration curls with dumbbells will work:big_smile:

There is no such thing as lower biceps.
mmaibohm is right, stand behind an incline bench, you can do them one arm at a time that way, also.
Another way t o do them is kneeling behind a stability ball, drape your torso over the ball and do your curls in front of the ball (hard to describe, but it works).
Good luck

Hi,
Thanks a lot for all your answers ....
asimmer : I am sorry to contradict you , but according to the guys who have described the workouts at freetrainers, the barbell preacher curls are supposed to target the "lower biceps". I am a software guy by profession and not surprisingly,my knowledge of the human anatomy is next to nothing! Not surprisingly,I just believed them.
Rest of you guys : Thanks a lot
Bye

I think he is describing the point where the bicep head joins the elbow area:big_smile:
