Having just signed up (again) at the gym yesterday, I'm very early on in the new fitness lifestyle, but I was thinking this morning - this whole bodybuilding thing seems to be 90% about the little things in day to day life - taking the time to plan, prepare meals, carry them around the place, eat regularly, wash the dishes, get to bed early... the image you get of all the sweating and grunting in the gym is such a small part of it all. That's how it's looking to me at this stage anyway :) It's really a very calm, disciplined pursuit. And such a mental game! In and out of the gym. The number of times my brain wanted to quit or slack off this morning in the gym, unbelievable.
Achieving the results I'm seeking is going to be so satisfying if i can maintain this lifestyle, working hard at doing the little things right.
Thanks to the dedicated FT community who make the FT site and forums such a fantastic resource!

You've hit the nail on the head. You'll find achieving your goals much easier now that you realize it's the little things that count the most. Great observations!
-------------- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.
