I'm no expert on training so I don't know, but I kinda lost faith when he mentioned dianabol and winstrol. From what I've read dianabol's short half life makes it more useful as a front loader. Winstrol because of it's side effects is usually used in low doses for short cycles during cutting. Neither one being good as a staple of a bulk cycle.

I could see his logic of more muscles worked producing more test and hgh but who's going to be able to do a set of 5x5 heavy squats after doing a 5x5 heavy deadlift day?

I don't see anything wrong with back day, leg day, and chest day, adding isolation work in at the end of a workout if needed. Just my opinion

Perhaps 2 days upper and 2 days lower like heavy back followed by light chest on monday and heavy chest and light back on wednesday. Or heavy squat light deadlift on tuesday and heavy deadlift and light squat on thursday. This might be pretty good if used in a 10 day cycle instead of a 7 day week. Might try that out when I hit a pleateau...Sorry for the rambling just thinking out loud. So this is my opinion if you were curious

Very interesting article - I agree with a lot of it. I do think that there is an overemphaisi on isolation work in most programs out there.

Good to see you back, gnagstershoes :) I like the new party pics..but is shaving your head and being huge a requirement to hang out with you?

I lurke around here occasionally :)
I just thought this article was pretty different from the norm and had some points. Since I stumbled upon it, I have adjusted my routine to be Clean & Press 5x5, pull overs 5x5, and weighted dips 5x5 one day, and leg day (squats 5x5, deadlifts 5x5). I'll see if that pushes me over the plateau, but really I just want to do something different. The compound routine has my interest peaked to. On a lighter note I wouldn't make you shave your head asimmer I promise. lol....
