I have a question regarding the workout sheet you can print out, the one that keeps track of your progress.

It has a slot for 'Input Repetitions' and a slot for 'Input Weight Used.' For the exercises such as push ups and chin between chairs, do you input your body weight as you aren't using weights? But are you really lifting your entire body wight?

Thanks!

Enter 0 when only inputing body weight.

Here's another question about the same thing...

If I were to add weights when doing the crunches, etc., would I input some weight into the "Input Weight Used" or do the typically 'non-weighted exercise' not get weight put in there?

Clear as mud I'll bet!

The mud is surprisingly clear Tim. :) It doesn't matter as long as you do the input consistently and you keep track of your method so you can gauge your gains.

hahaha... thanks! So the last few times I've put in '0' as I never used any added weight, but if I use a 10 pound or something I can input that?

I do, when ever I do crunches I put a 35lb plate on my chest, people look at me a little strange but it seems to work better for me. Same when I do seated twists, I use a torso machine at 150lbs. So I do input the weights. I will even enter weights on leg lifts once I get ankle weights. Hope this helps.

OK....:)

Just be consistant...you're body weight will change...so in my opinion you are better to use 0...unless you intentionally add weight...for instance with squats you would put zero..unless you added a barbell with say 30lbs...then you would put 30 lbs...again it's up to you as long as you are consistant....make sense???

Input the weight you used. Example, if you did a bench press with 100 pounds, put in 100.

so if you were to do the regular side laterals with some dumbells that are say 5lb. you'd put in 5lb. as the input weight right?

Okay, let's say I have a 10 pound weight in one hand and a 10 pound weight in the other, and I'm doing one-arm incline dumbell flys. That would mean 20 pounds in the input weight, right?

hehehehe.. doesn't matter... just be consistent. If you put in 10lbs one time, make sure it's always the weight of one db... if you put it in as 20lbs, always put in the weight of the two dbs... inconsistency will mess up the report.

I'm supposed to start my workout plan this Monday the 24th. I noticed on the workout plans it has input weight. I'd like to be able to type something in there but I don't have any weights not even ankle weights. I was wondering does anyone know of any good ways I can add weight to my workout with other things?
