Well its starting to get very hot outside and im thinking of plugging in my tredmill and start running indoors. Since its so hot im starting to sweat A LOT when im running and i get dehydrated fast. I drink lots of water but it all comes out from the sweat so fast im thirsty again. This leads to cramps and makes me just want to walk the rest of the way home. I cant really carry a waterbottle with me so i think it would be better for me to set one beside me when on the tredmill and take little sips.

Which do you prefer? Indoors or Outdoors?

I *prefer* outdoors..however, because of the very humid, hot weather here in Fla i have given up and am doing my AM cardio on the treadmill as well..(sigh)

I worked out at home for the first time in ages on Sunday. I actually thought about setting up a few things outside.

However, being in Alberta, the weather can change in a blink of an eye... so, really, I prefer inside.

get a camel-back hydration pack. I use the on the bike, running, and hunting. You can't beat em. I actually have 2 one bright orange for sports stuff and one in camo. don't forget to empty it and buy the cleaning pack!

My daughter was just telling me about her camel-back for hiking...she got it on Ebay for $40. But also you can buy sport belts that hold several bottles all the way around.

C'mon Tim the weather here isn't that bad you could set some things set up as the warm up and then take them down again to finish the workout. I can remember many years ago as a teen setting up my little bench and weights out on the deck for the summer and then covering them with a tarp just to be outside when it was nice, since the summers here are short and I like to be outside as much as possible.

Even now my set up is no longer portable, I work out quicker in the summer just to finish faster and get outside to enjoy the sun. Then again my family thinks I am nuts, as I will go for a run mid-afternoon on 30+Celsius days just to enjoy the extra warmth.
