After two whole weeks of being out of the gym, taking antibiotics, feeling small, and doing nothing but rest, I'm back in. I did shoulders today and I felt great until my stomach didn't agree with what I was doing. I made the mistake of going too hard too soon. I should have taken my time and not thought I could lift the world. So, my workout ended abruptly by me scurrying to the bathroom for an ab exercise called vomitting. I'm okay now though. Here's what the workout looked like:
Military- 135x16, 185x12, 205x10, 225x10, 265x6
Side Delt Raises(dumbbells)- 25x15, 30x15, 35x10, 45x8
Rear Delts(machine)- 150x15, 175x12, 200x10, 150x15
Upright Rows(barbell)- 135x10, 135x10, 155x8
Arnold's- 75'sx12, 80'sx10, 85'sx7
Vomitting- 1 set x 3 reps
Oh well, at least I almost finished my workout. Now its time to get down to business and get ripped. I started taking photos to keep track of my progress and I will post the URL to the website after my show in August. I guess the point to my post, other than sayin "I'm back", I guess was to warn those who have taken time off, to take it easy your first few times back in the Rage Layer(gym). :dumbbell:

I know that I could ask fit buddy but....how effective is vomiting for working your abs? How often? Is it better on an empty stomach or should I eat something first? I'll admit it is a novel approach but I am always looking for new ideas. Feel free to post your vomiting/ab routine. Good to have you back. Glad you are feeling better and thanks for the advice.

Take some creatine b4 vomitting, it helps retain the water!

Love the vomiting routine JDelts! Welcome back! I've used this routine on occasion; it's a great way to lose 5 or 6 pounds instantly. It also allows for a good stretch in the lower back and triceps, depending on how you hold the porcelain. Occasionally, try the ol' whirl-n-hurl variation, where you're getting cardio and ab workout at the same time, because whilst running for the bathroom, the stomach contents use their get-out-of-jail-free card.
Great routine; should be standardized.

I find that "alcohol loading" the night before is the only way that I can vomit my abs to failure

Today was alot better and more intense. It was "the right to bare arms" day as I blasted my bi's and tri's along with some abs(no puking though). I feel back on track already.:dumbbell::angry:
