Hello everybody.

My name is Paul. I am a Defense of tackle on varsity at my highschool. I am around 250 lbs. I can not even bench press 160. I can however deadlift 400-500 lbs. That is where my strength is. I have a body I am most shamefull of. I need to loose weight, and gain strength. I have tried EVERYTHING. Plain, right eating. DiDnt work. My mom says i have a slow matabulism. She is also far over weight. I am not trying to be mean, but thats the truth. I don't want to be like this. I am at the ends of my ropes when it comes to this. I'm going to be a Junior and I am shy as anything. I have no Self-confidence. It's summer and I want to be bigger and leaner. It's not just for my appearance, but to better myself in football. I need to be faster and stronger. I have seen websites like http://www.anaboliceurope.com and have read dangers of these steroids. I will not stoop down to a level of taking steroids. I do however need a suppliment or something to help me. I just CAN NOT do it on my own. I have looked at Thermogain ( http://global-nutrition-inc.com/mt-143.html ) and Hydroxicut ( http://global-nutrition-inc.com/mt-186.html ). I have come to a conclusion. I will start taking something. My freinds take creatine. They seem to get bigger and bigger. Also, i hear there are very minimal risks while taking it. I hear that you will experience syptoms if u exceed the recommended dose. I happened upon this. http://www.muscletech.com/products/shredded_stack/science.shtml

This says it can help you loose weight and gain muscle.

I need advice on this subject. Should i go along with one of these products, or is there anything better out there?

Remind you, I am almost in a DESPERATE state.

the supplement industry is 95% bullshit. forget hydroxycut it is all hype don't look for a supplement to be your answer. creatine is legit though. start doing cardio and eating healthier along with your weight training and you will be fine.

ooh, and i do have a BIG question for anyone out there.

I have triples coming up. three practices a day. Will creatine have any side effects on me making it harder for me to function? I am not soo fast already and get winded relativley fast. Will this intensify that?

ooh, and where can i buy creatine. A good kind, thAT is like not bad for you.

Maybe you didn't read the first response you got. Go back and reread it.

However, you still seem dumb and excited, a supplement companies best friend. So I will say it again:

You DO NOT NEED a supplement.
Training right and eating right WILL WORK.
There is NOBODY that can't do it without supplements.
STOP being "desperate".

That said, most of us here do use various supplements. However, in almost every case, the people that think they NEED supplements are the ones that SHOULDN'T be taking anything.

TRAIN HARDER.

What do you eat, how often? How often do you go to the gym, exercise? What is your lifting routine? Your cardio routine? How much protein do you eat a day? How much water do you drink?

If you can't answer these questions off the top of your head (for the most part) then you need to get all of these in order before saying that you NEED supplements.

there are very few supplements that actually do what they say.
some good ones are creatine whey and various weight gainers. i know firsthand hydroxycut don't work a friend of mine decided to try it and gained 3 lbs in 3 months. a lot of people like animal stack let me guess you went to hydroxycuts site saw a ton of good reviews and it instantly hooked you. those people took hydroxycut but they lost the weight by working their ass off.

point is don't waste your money next thing you know you'll be broke and you wont even be able to afford the creatine.
