i am an 18 year old male and i CANNOT lose the fat on my stomach or hips...i am not extremely overweight i am 5'5 and 153 pounds and i exercise regularly...for a while i tried throwing up food and the last few weeks or so i have been eating almost nothing and then throwing up what i am eating however it seems the fat does not go away...it is wierd for me to say this because i am very embarrassed about it and i am aware it is a terrible habit which i would like to break before it becomes damaging

so im hoping people on this message board could help me...all i want are suggestions on the best nutrition plan in terms of calorie intake (considering the fact i work out everyday)

any help is appreciated

stevie...have you considered some counseling for the image distortion/eating disorder?
1800 - 2000 calories should be a good start, try a 40/30/30 ratio of carbs/pro/fat.

Eat 5-6 smaller meals a day, cut out processed foods as much as possible. Stick to lean proteins - chicken, fish, lean beef, turkey, eggs. Whole grains and complex carbs - brown rice, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes. Lots of fresh vegetables like broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, green beans...any vegetable really. Apples, grapefruit, melon, berries, almost any fresh fruits.Eat goodfats from nuts, olive oil, fish oil.

What type of workout routine are you doing and how many times aweek? what type of cardio are you doing and how often?

Amen to that! I can almost guarantee it's your diet Stevie. Be mindful of portion sizes and overall calories consumed. The weight will come off eventually. Hell, I'm almost into single digits for body fat, and still have a little belly fat. It's always the first on and the last off. Hang in there!
