Hey i have some questions about my workout. I'm a Junior in highschool and have been lifting pretty hard since my freshman year. The only workout i've known is the one the older kids i lifted with did. If you look at my profile you can see what the workout is. Also, what are some good supplements to take? I've been on NanoVapor and take Kre-Alkalyn

Monday- Bench, decline bench, dumbell flyes, cable cross overs, wide push ups, dips (all except for bench have sets of 3x8 or 3x10)
Tues- preacher curls, dumbell curls, hammer curls, straightbar curls, Pull downs and one arm pull downs
Wed- Side shoulder raises, dumbell shrugs, Hexbar shrugs, straightbar shrugs, front shoulder raises, seated rows, bent over rows, lat pull down
Thurs- Same as Monday but i sometimes switch the order around and add some concentration curls
Fri- Same as tuesday but usually add dumbell bench

Haha after seeing some of the workouts here this one looks pretty sad

Without a doubt you need to add legs into your workout, and you need to do much more back work or your shoulders will start to hunch forward and you don't want that.

I recommend that you sign up for one of the routines on this site. I think you just click fitness plan at the top and go from there. That will get you started on the right path.

Where in the world did you get that workout from? I would suggest never listening to that advice again. You need to start with the basics and as ecle5c said - sign up for a routine here. Good luck.

Did you pick a workout from this site?

And sometimes just because a workout appears shorter, doesn't mean it's easier. It depends how much effort YOU put into it.

That's not necessarily a bad thing... or a good thing... what are your goals? What did you put in for the goals when you entered the information?

Do you also take into account that your triceps get a good amount of work during any pressing (bench), or overhead pressing movements? I would imagine that you get quite a few more than 2 tricep exercises a week, you don't need all the isolation movements.

What do you have against the workout on this site? They are infinitely better than what you have been doing. Do the 12 week mass program, tell us how it went and then maybe someone will help you create your own routine.

I would stop with all those glamour muscles and just work your biceps from now on. If you can think of 20 different bicep excercizes, and do 4 a day for 4 sets of 10-12 for 5 days a week that should get you up to 160 with huge arms. You'll have ladies all over you like a rockstar. And grow a ponytail.
