You are on a really good web site here. Ask all the questions you want and you will get answers from people in the sport of bodybuilding and training. These are the people who use the products. Not all people who sell a product use it. Where else can you get free advice 24/7?

I'll tell you right now, you have to remember that the people at GNC are there to sell products. You can't actually expect to go to McDonald's and have them tell you that a Big Mac tastes horrible and that you should go elsewhere to eat. Plus, it's just their job. They haven't done any extensive research on any of these products. Your best bet is if you have a question about something, ask the people here. Don't go wasting your money.

The people at GNC are usually simply sales clerks. Kind of like going to Radio Shack and asking the sales clerk there for something other than batteries. Do your own research, know what you want and why, and then go shop. GNC does promote marketing hype. Don't be fooled by it.

Bb1fit is correct...they're just clerks. My local GNC store had this huge, fat guy trying to advise me to try a particular protein powder once. Yeah right...and that worked for him?
Anyway, do your own research. Use us as a reference or the net. Between the two, you should get plenty of info.
Good luck!

Any place that tells their clerks to push crap like creatine serum is out in my books. I know a guy here at work that used to work at a GNC. They educate them a bit, but from what he told me, they are not required to attend. On top of that, their 'education' comes from the literature of the supplement companies. They also get bonuses if they sell certain products. AND their prices are ridiculously high. Try netrition.com or dpsnutrition.com for better prices. All in all, GNC is just a bad deal.
