Well, I had a rowing machine that I liked, but it was old, and one morning I ripped the handlebars right off. Now all I have is a staircase. My main goal is to lose fat, so should I jog the stairs or will walking do? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jogging is good... step ups, calf raises..
For weight type exercises you can do pushups off them and tricep dips.
Some ideas, anyway.

also - try doing double step, like lingung up the stairs. Run up, walk down, skip up, hop down, lots of ways to have fun on the stairs, climb sideways, etc.
