First of all: Don't worry about what other people say! Your biceps don't "have to be" a certain size.

For the size of your bicep, you fall in the average range. There is nothing abnormal about the size of your biceps. In fact, your bodytype may influence the size of your arms more than anything else. If you're looking to gain mass, just get them as big as you can. You should also be doing a lot of weight when doing tricep excercises. Many people think that to get the arm bigger you only need to work the bicep. Remember: your tricep is a bigger and stronger muscle group. A well-developed tricep will make the entire upper arm look bigger. Good luck.

It'll also be very different depending on your frame. I'm 6'2 and my bi's are 17", but I have friends that are about half my weight and are lucky if they can get to 12".

Weight plays a major factor in arm size then height you are probably around my weight range im only 5'6 flat footed and my arm is only 13" pretty small but im not a big guy either on top of that guys that are saying they have 17" arms are usually around the 200 pound mark and Im only 150 pounds im thick chested though. Id rather have a nice chest and muscles in my shoulders rather than in my arms though.

yea weight, and type of muscle.........some have short thick muscles, others have long muslces.......me i'm 6'1" 245lbs with short thick muscles so my biceps are around 18 3/4 in.....there big but they r also portionate with me, key thing is train ur whole body, belive it or not ur body will only let u get so outta portionate and it will not allow that area to get much bigger.......so left with everything and i promise u'l get bigger..........key word here..........TIME!.........i didn't start out with almost 19in biceps i was at about 16 but i had to work out to firm them up and its taken me abotu 2 years of serious training

"May 25, 2002"

i hate that! I like, read a thread and try to help the person with their questions, but then i notice how it was asked so long ago that the person who asked it is either dead or not seating in front of their computer waiting for an answer...

14.5" biceps r not 2 small.
The bicep can be a very diffacult muscle 2 develop, its something u use all the time.
Every other week I will use a lighter weight and higher reps, like 30-50.
I get the best burn by doing my sets that way, THEY WILL MAKE U SORE SORE.
